As a central development agency for Herzegovina region, REDAH coordinates and manages the process of preparation and implementation of regional development strategy for Herzegovina. This activity comprises coordination throughout the process of preparing the strategy, provision of technical assistance to participants in the process, participation in the strategy implementation, assurance of funds for implementation of projects from the strategy, monitoring the strategy implementation process, etc. Additionally, REDAH provides technical support to municipalities in the process of preparing local development strategies and, in that way, it coordinates these activities and harmonizes them with regional development strategy in order to make sure that they are effective and realistic.
